How We Train — The FUNino Way
At this age, fun and learning are the same thing. FUNino is the game format developed in Germany by Horst Wein that puts every child in the game, every minute — with maximum ball contact and real match situations from day one.
FUNino replaces large-group drills with small-sided games specifically designed for young players. Field size, goal size, number of players, and rules are all adapted to the age and skill level of the children — so every game feels just right.
Instead of standing in line waiting for a turn, every child is always involved — touching the ball, making decisions, scoring goals. This is how German youth soccer develops players who love the game for life.
At ages 5–7 the brain learns through play. FUNino sessions look like games — because they are. Skills are picked up naturally, without children even realising they’re being coached.
Multiple small goals spread across the playing area encourage movement in all directions, 1v1 situations, and quick decision-making — the foundation of every great player.
